Mark Bishop is co-founder and executive producer at Canada's leading production company, marblemedia. Over the last 20 years Mark, and his business partner Matthew Hornburg, have diversified marblemedia’s content slate into becoming one of the country's leading and most highly respected independent production, distribution, and digital media companies. In addition to their impressive slate of scripted and unscripted programming, marblemedia also runs its own successful YouTube channel, marbleKids, and owns Distribution360, a global distributor overseeing a robust catalogue of premium television content from around the world. 

 Bishop is a respected leader in the industry and trusted advisor who, in addition to overseeing the successful scripted department, leads strategic growth, global distribution and sales, marketing, digital media, and new business ventures.  He is vice-chair of the CMPA board of directors (Canadian Media Producers Association) and a board member of the Canadian Association of Content Exporters.

marblemedia's recent kids and family productions includes four seasons of the high-octane celebrity sports competition series All-Round Champion, Just Like Mom and Dad, interconnected scripted family comedy series The Parker Andersons/Amelia Parker and the family comedy series Overlord and the Underwoods. Unscripted entertainment includes the award-winning Netflix Original series Blown Away; the acclaimed Netflix Original series Restaurants on the Edge; Netflix Original Drink Masters; Discovery’s A Cut Above; the CBC Original Best in Miniature; CBC’s Race Against the Tide; and an upcoming untitled Mr. Dressup feature documentary. Amongst many other accolades, Bishop and Hornburg are the recent recipients of the 2022 Canadian Screen Award for Best Children’s or Youth Non-Scripted Program and were most recently named the ‘Titans of Unscripted TV’ in Variety’s 2022 Reality Impact Report.
